Made this vanilla cake for a lovely Scottish gentleman. It has a layer of vanilla buttercream and covered with fondant, thistle and tartan ribbon.

I made these cute cupcakes for a little lady’s 10th birthday party. They are vanilla flavoured with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The cupcake toppers are all handmade from fondant and are edible.

Gaming Console Birthday Cake

My son loves old gaming consoles so when he decided he would like a NES cake for his birthday party, I asked, what is a NES? After a lot of research this is what I made and according to him it’s spot on. Phew. By the way it stands for Nintendo Entertainment System. Its made from vanilla flavoured cake cut to the required shape and covered with fondant icing. The hand controllers are made from gum paste. The games cartridge is made from fondant.
